About this random number generator
Need a fair pick — a lottery line, a raffle winner, who goes first? This generator uses your browser's cryptographic randomness (the same source password tools trust), not a predictable formula.
How to use it
- Set the minimum and maximum.
- Choose how many numbers, and whether repeats are allowed.
- Click Generate.
Worked example
Minimum 1, maximum 49, count 6, 'No repeats' ticked gives a lottery-style line like 4, 11, 19, 27, 33, 48.
Frequently asked questions
Are the numbers truly random?
They come from crypto.getRandomValues, your browser's secure random source — suitable for draws and games. No number is favoured.
Can I generate decimals?
This tool generates whole numbers. For a decimal, generate 0-1000 and divide by 100 in your head — or use it for raffle-style picks as most people do.
What does 'No repeats' do?
Each number can appear only once, like balls drawn from a drum.
